Pink-footed Geese
During September and October many thousands of Pink-footed Geese Anser brachyrhynchus (N=kortnebbgås) stage around the Trondheimsfjord. I have been counting these geese as part of long-term monitoring and population dynamics of the Svalbard breeding population.
