Apologies for the silence

As the title says - apologies for the silence. It is 9 months since I last updated this blog. I could blame lack of time, or lack of good photos or lack of interest - but such excuses just aren't true.
Anyway, after a long silence I am posting a few recent photos from the last week or so. I will try my best not to wait as long before the next update.

I will start off with some photos of the most photogenic bird species I know - Purple Sandpiper Calidris maritima (N=fjæreplytt).
