At least five Common shelduck Tadorna tadorna (Norwegian = Gravand) at Midtsandan (Malvik, Sør-Trøndelag) this morning. There were quite a few squabbles between the males trying to defend females. Despite the distance between myself and the birds, combined with camera-shake and bird-movement I managed a few half-decent shots. They are lovely birds!
