Common eiders

What was supposed to be a quick trip to look at ducks at Midtsandan this morning (13th April) resulted in me sitting motionless for a couple of hours with a flock of seaducks (mainly common eiders Somateria mollissima) fairly close to where I sat. Fantastic birds - the pictures say it all.
