Long-tailed Ducks in a local harbour

A flock of Long-tailed Duck Clangula hyemalis (N=havelle) has been present in the marina at Hommelvik for around three months or so. They are feeding on blue mussels, small crabs and probably a host of other species around the floating jetties. With a little patience it is possible to have them close to, especially on cold days when there is a thin layer of ice restricting where the ducks can feed. Here are some photos taken recently.
