Hawk Owl and Crested Tit

Thanks to a tip-off I took a trip to Gjeddvatnet near Trondheim to look at a Hawk Owl Surnia ulula (N=haukugle). The bird showed really well yesterday (7th November), yet today it was a bit more restless and more distant. Here are a couple of the better shots from yesterday.

There are also a couple of Crested Tits Lophophanes cristatus (N=toppmeis) at the same site, although the photos below were taken two weeks ago.
