Greylag and Pink-footed Geese

As many are aware, I just love watching geese. During the past few weeks I have had a few trips around Trøndelag to look at geese. Most are Greylag Anser anser or Pink-footed Geese Anser brachyrhynchus, with smaller numbers of other goose species. Here are a few photos from the last few weeks.

Around 1,970 Pink-footed Geese over Selbu

I sat in the car near Skogn, Levanger and a flock of around 2,500 Pinkfooted Geese moved closer and closer as they fed on stubbles on both sides of the gravel track. In the end I was surrounded by geese, both feeding on either side of the road and standing on it.
