Waxwings in the garden
There were a lot of waxwings Bombycilla garrulus (N=sidensvans) around the house today (Midtsandan, Malvik). At most I counted 110 birds, scattered around both our own garden as well as a couple of neighbouring gardens. At most there must have been 50-60 in our garden. Some were in a bush beside the entrance door so I carefully opened it and poked the camera out to get a few pictures. Not the best quality pictures but you can at least see just how beautiful and elegant these birds are. After quarter of an hour or so the bush where I took the pictures was devoid of any berries, and the birds then moved on.
