Damsels and dragons

Spent the last two days looking at dragonflies at a couple of sites nearby. Damselflies and dragonflies are absolutely beautiful insects, as the pictures below testify:

A variant found at this site with unusual black markings on segment 2.


Four-spotted chaser Libellula quadrimaculata (Hyllvatnet, Malvik)


White-faced darter Leucorrhinia dubia (Lauvtjønna, Malvik)
